I read an interesting Taoist thought about life, and it truly struck me... The Taoist belief in the Universe is positive thinking will only heighten your mind. In other words, expect better blood pressure, cholesterol levels and more smiling. But just a positive attitude alone will not give you what you want. The Universe is lazy, and really doesn't want anything to change. So, your positive attitude is great, but nothing may come of it (you won't get the job, or summit the mountain). The Taoist believe that you must put more energy in to getting what you want, solving your problems, obtaining spiritual growth (whatever it is) by putting in more energy than the Universe. This is how you seize as much of what you want in life, and how you change the world!
